Where do we start?
The vintage Fox Theatre Walsenburg is available to rent and is the perfect space for a variety of events. Or rent the marquee for announcements of all kinds (both business and personal).
We expect presenters, organizers, fans, patrons, vendors, our employees, and all who work with us to provide access to events to everyone and do not allow programming or events that discriminate or advocate for discrimination.
The Fox reserves the right to restrict or refuse any event deemed inappropriate for our space.
Rental of the theatre does not indicate an endorsement of the event or the event sponsor.
What is the process to rent the theatre?

Arrange for a tour of the facility to develop a general plan for your event.
Schedule a follow-up meeting to finalize the details for your event.
Provide proof of appropriate liability insurance. (No insurance? Let’s chat.)
When is the theatre available to rent?
The theatre is available during the day and in the evenings. Weekend availability is limited.
The theatre requires 6-8 weeks’ notice to be able to accommodate rental requests, and availability is dependent on the theatre’s existing schedule.
The rental of the FTW is always subject to availability.
How much does it cost to rent the theatre?
There are many variables, and rental costs vary depending on the following:
The day and time of your event.
The length of your event and other event details.
Appropriate staffing for your event.
Licensing fees for movie screenings.
After we talk, we'll build a customized and itemized estimate for your review.
Can I have my event catered?
Yes, we encourage you to make arrangements with caterers for your event. We have a few friends we trust w/ caterering and we're happy to share their info w/ you. The Fox does not have a kitchen or any food prep facilities.
Can I serve alcohol at my event?
If you rent the theatre for a private party, you may serve alcohol. You must provide the Fox Theatre Walsenburg with proof of appropriate liability insurance coverage.
If you charge admission for a public event during which you will be serving alcohol, you must secure a SEP permit, as well as provide the Fox with proof of appropriate liability insurance coverage.
